About the race
Freedom Racing presents the Hurtwood 50k, a long distance trail event held on 5 December 2027 from Dorking Sports Centre in the Surrey Hills. The distance is 50 km and the event is organised as a trail ultra on defined public routes.
The course is fully signed as a Long Distance Trail with additional race signage along the route. The format includes an out and back section plus a five mile loop. There are regular checkpoints offering food and drinks at approximately 7, 13, 18 and 24 miles. Race timing uses SportIdent equipment with live leaderboards and published results.
