Hurtwood 50k
The Hurtwood 50k is a long-distance trail running event held in the Surrey Hills. The event starts and finishes at the Dorking Sports Centre on Reigate Road in Dorking. Participants follow a trail route that is fully signed with additional race-specific signage provided throughout the course.
The race utilizes an out and back format that includes a five-mile loop. The course is monitored using SportIdent race timing, which provides live leaderboards and results during the event. Participants have a total of 10 hours to complete the course, allowing for various movement paces, including walking.

- 50 km
The route features regular checkpoints located at miles 7, 13, 18, and 24. These stations provide food and drinks to runners. Upon registration, each participant receives a TRIBE bar. The event is open to individuals aged 16 and older. Registration typically opens in February and closes a few days before the event in December.
