Event overview

Freedom Racing - Hurtwood 50k is a long-distance trail race held on Sunday 6 December 2026. The event starts and finishes at Dorking Sports Centre, Reigate Road, Dorking. The race distance is 50 km and it takes place in the Surrey Hills. The organiser is Freedom Racing.

Course and support

The route is a fully signed long-distance trail with extra race signage. The layout is an out-and-back route with an additional five-mile loop used for the front of the field. There are regular checkpoints with food and drinks at approximately 7, 13, 18 and 24 miles. SportIdent race timing will be used, with live leaderboards and results. A free TRIBE bar is available to collect at registration. The race has a 10-hour completion limit.
