The Autumn Lucky Dip Run
The Autumn Lucky Dip Run is a time-based event held in Staines-upon-Thames. This event follows a 7-hour time challenge format, allowing participants to determine their own distance by completing as many or as few laps as they choose within the time limit. The course is situated along the River Thames and consists of well-made paths and tarmac with a small grass section. It is fully signed and suitable for road shoes.
Participants can choose from various distances:
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 7 km (single lap)
- Half Marathon (3 laps)
- Marathon (6 laps)
- 50 km
- Ultra Marathon (7 or more laps)
The event is open to runners and walkers of all abilities. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal from a selection of designs from previous races. Those completing a half-marathon distance or greater are eligible for specific distance pins. All finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan option available.
An aid station located at the start and finish of each lap provides a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, fruit, cheese, and vegan items. Facilities at the venue include toilets and a bag drop area.
