Saturn Running - Midweek Chasing Numbers (Oct 2026)
This is a 7 hour Time Challenge organised by Saturn Running at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham. Participants may choose their own distance; the minimum official finishing distance is 3 km. A full lap is 4.37 miles (7 km) but the loop may be changed to a 3.28 mile circuit depending on course conditions. The event includes 3k and 5k turn points within the lap to accommodate UK Athletics age restrictions.
The course runs alongside the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% of the route is on a well-made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year-round; trail shoes are an option for extra grip. The regular course may be altered subject to health and safety review and landowner approval.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are available for half-marathon and longer distances, including Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50 km and Ultra pins. All finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan option available. An aid and drinks table is provided at the start/finish of each lap offering savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
Facilities at the race HQ include toilets and a cafe. Bag drop is unmanned and items are left at the participant's risk. A large pay-on-exit carpark is at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Headphones are allowed and runners are asked to be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
