Saturn Running : Midweek Chasing Numbers (Oct 2026)
Saturn Running stages a Midweek Chasing Numbers event at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club beside the River Thames. The event is a 7 hour Time Challenge that lets participants choose how far to run, with a minimum recognised distance of 3km.
A full lap measures 4.37 miles (approximately 7km) but the course may be altered to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. The lap includes 3km and 5km turn points for compliance with UK Athletics age rules. It is three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon and seven or more for an ultra; a 50km option is also offered.
The course is fully signed and mainly on a well-made path or tarmac (about 60%), with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes can be used for extra grip. The organiser notes the course may change subject to health and safety reviews and land owner approval.
Finishers who complete at least 3km receive a medal; distance pins are awarded for half-marathon and longer distances and are added to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan option available. An aid table and drinks are provided at the start/finish of each lap. Toilets and a cafe are available at the race HQ and there is a pay on exit carpark at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Number pick up is on the day at registration and final instructions are sent by email before the event. Headphones are allowed and participants are asked to be considerate of other footpath users.
