Labyrinth 40th Anniversary Run : event details

The event marks the 40th anniversary of the film from 1986 and features a themed medal based on the movie. It is presented as a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how many laps to run. Entry at the discounted price of £23 is available only to members; membership also guarantees entry and provides a mini-me medal pin at events.

Course, distances and facilities

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed and is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section; road shoes are suitable all year. There are turn points at 3 km and 5 km within the lap to help comply with UK Athletics age restrictions. Medals are awarded to finishers who complete at least 3 km; distance pins are given for half-marathon and longer results. Facilities and logistics include toilets and changing available from 8am, a non-secure bag drop at the start/finish, an aid table with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items, and parking at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines, TW18 4TP. Headphones are allowed.
