Labyrinth 40th Anniversary Run : Staines upon Thames
The event, organised by Saturn Running, marks the 40th anniversary of the film Labyrinth and takes place at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU on 14 June 2026. It is presented as a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose their own distance, with a minimum official finisher distance of 3 km.
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames, is fully signed and uses mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable all year round. The standard lap measures 4.37 miles (7 km) but the loop may be adjusted to a 3.28 mile option depending on conditions. The lap includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to accommodate UK Athletics age restrictions. Common lap counts noted are 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or more for an ultra; a 50 km option is also available.
Medals are awarded to all finishers completing at least 3 km and distance pins are provided for half marathon and longer distances. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid and drinks table is available at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities at the venue open from 8am. Bridge Street Car Park in Staines serves as local parking. Number pick up takes place on the day at race registration.
