Labyrinth 40th Anniversary Run
The Labyrinth 40th Anniversary Run is a distance-flexible event that takes place along a stretch of the River Thames. The event follows a 7 hour time challenge format where participants have the freedom to choose how many laps they complete within the allotted time. The course consists of well-made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. It is fully signed and does not require navigational experience. Road shoes are suitable for the terrain.
Participants can choose from several distance options based on the completion of laps:
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- 50 km
- Ultra Marathon
A single full lap is approximately 7 km (4.37 miles), though this may be adjusted to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Those completing a half marathon or further are awarded specific distance pins to attach to their medal ribbon.
The event hub at The Last Hop provides access to toilets and an aid station located at the start and finish of each lap. The aid table features a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, including vegan-friendly options. Finishers also receive a goody bag. There is a bag drop area available, though it is not a secure storage facility. Parking is located nearby at the Bridge Street Car Park in Staines.
