Labyrinth 40th Anniversary Run
This event marks the 40th anniversary of the 1986 film and features a themed medal based on the movie. The event is organised by Saturn Running and takes place at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU.
The format is a seven hour Time Challenge that allows each participant to choose how many laps to complete. The minimum distance to be an official finisher is 3km. Laps are primarily on well made paths and tarmac alongside a stretch of the River Thames, with a very short grass section. The course is fully signed and road shoes are suitable year round.
Distances
- 3km minimum distance to be an official finisher.
- Full lap approximately 7km or 4.37 miles; course may be adjusted to a 3.28 mile loop.
- Three laps equals a half marathon; six laps equals a marathon; seven laps or more counts as an ultra.
- 5km, 10km, 50km and other distance options are offered.
Finishers who complete 3km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50km and ultra achievements and are attached to the medal ribbon. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid table and drinks are provided at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets are available at the venue though there are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines TW18 4TP.
