Event overview

The Eggcellent Easter Five in Five Days Series is a five-day running series held at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU on 2 April 2026. Each day has a different Easter Bunny egg colour to collect: Orange, Pink, Green, Purple and Blue. The event is organised by Saturn Running. Entry options include individual days or a five-day entry. Entry fees range from £110 (member rate) to £135.

This is an 8 hour Time Challenge event. A full lap measures 4.37 miles (7km) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. A 3km turn point and a 5km turn point are marked on the lap. It is three laps for a half-marathon, six laps for a marathon and seven or more laps for an ultra. Age minimums apply for some distances (for example 5km and Time Challenge 12+, 10k 14+, half-marathon 17+, marathon 18+, 50k and ultra 20+).

Course, facilities and awards

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable. Toilets, changing facilities and a cafe are at race HQ. Bag drop is unmanned. Aid and drinks tables are available each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Finishers completing at least 3km receive a medal; distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer distances.
