Event overview
The Dashing Dog Charity Run is organised by Saturn Running on 22 March 2026 at The Last Hop, Unit 2, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU. The event raises funds for local dog rehoming centres: a £2.00 surcharge on each entry is donated in full, an optional £3.00 pin donation is matched by the organiser, and 10% of event profits are donated when no extra donation is selected. A member-only entry price of £25.00 is available; general entry prices range from £20.00 to £40.00.
Course and distances
The event is a 7-hour Time Challenge held along the River Thames on fully signed paths. The surface is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable year-round. Minimum distance is 3 km; a full lap is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. Turn points at 3 km and 5 km are provided.

Facilities and race details
Finishers completing at least 3 km receive a dog-themed medal; distance pins are provided for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra. A standard goody bag and a vegan goody bag option are available. An aid table and drinks are provided at the start/finish of each lap with savoury and sweet snacks and vegan options. Toilets, changing facilities and a bag-drop area are available at the venue. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines, TW18 4TP.
