Event overview
This is a PHOENIX Fridays timed running event held at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey. It is part of a series of Friday runs with flexible rock up and run start times. The specific "Run for a Tenner" edition charges £10 for affiliated entries and £12 for unaffiliated entries. Course and entry details
The event uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back lap along a riverside towpath. Distances available include:

- 10 km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish. The minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as a participant can go within a 7-hour overall time limit. The terrain is off-road trail on a riverside towpath and the course has no elevation gain or loss. All participants, including virtual entrants, receive a physical medal or memento; the Run for a Tenner charity runs include a double-sided Rays of Sunshine medal.
