Guy Fawkes - Northampton
This is a seven hour Time Challenge run organised by Saturn Too at Northampton Active, Bedford Rd, Northampton. The course is around the Northampton Washlands and uses well maintained paths and trail. The regular route may be altered after a health and safety review.
Participants may choose how many laps to complete. A full lap is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles) though this may be shortened. A 3 km minimum distance is available as part of a lap, and there are 3 km and 5 km turn points to help with UK Athletics age restrictions. Lap counts noted in event information: 3 laps equals a half marathon, 6 laps a marathon, and 7 or more laps an ultra. A 50 km option is also offered.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are issued for half marathon distance and above and are attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid and drinks table is available at the start and finish of each lap with drinks and snacks including vegan choices.
Facilities include toilets only. Parking at the venue is limited and nearby charged parking may be available. Number pick up is on the day and final race instructions will be sent by email in the week before the event. A bag drop is provided but is not secure.
