Saturn Running presents a Midweek Chasing Numbers event at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Staines. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
This is a seven hour Time Challenge that lets participants choose how far to run. The minimum distance is 3km. A full lap is listed as 7km (4.37 miles) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The course includes 3k and 5k turn points for younger runners. It is three laps for a half marathon, six laps for a marathon, seven or more laps for an ultra, and a 50km option is available. Entry fees range from £18 to £27. Members receive the lowest entry price, guaranteed entry and a small medal pin at events. Runners who belong to a UK Athletics affiliated club receive a £2.00 discount.
The course runs alongside the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% of the route is on a well made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes may be preferred for extra grip. The layout may be adjusted after a health and safety review or land owner approval.

Finishers who complete at least 3km receive a medal and those at half marathon distance or more receive a distance pin on the medal ribbon. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid table and drinks table are available at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets are available at The Last Hop but there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park in Staines TW18 4TP. Number pick up is on the day at race registration. A bag drop area is provided but is not secure. Headphones are allowed.
