Course
The route follows a stretch of the River Thames near Egham. The course is fully signed. The surface is mixed, with approximately 60% on well-made paths or tarmac and the remainder on grass and light trail, which can get muddy. Road shoes can be used year-round.
Venue and Facilities
The event is based at the Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club in Egham. On-site facilities include toilets, changing facilities, and a cafe. There is a large "pay on exit" car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. An unmanned bag drop is available at the start/finish area.
Included with Entry
All finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag (with a vegan option available). An aid station at the start/finish of each lap provides drinks, savoury and sweet snacks, fruit, and cheese. Distance pins for the half marathon, marathon, 50 km, and ultra are awarded and attached to the medal ribbon. Participants celebrating a milestone run (e.g., 50th, 100th event) can request a personalized race number. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
