About the race
The Remembrance Day Run - North East, hosted by Saturn Running, takes place in Durham along a scenic trail beside the River Wear with views of the Cathedral. This inclusive event offers a flexible time challenge format lasting 6 hours and 32 minutes, allowing participants to run distances from a minimum of 3km up to 50km, including half-marathon, marathon, and ultra options. The course is fully marked and suitable for all abilities, including walkers.
Runners pause for a two-minute silence at 11am to honor fallen heroes. Finishers receive a themed Remembrance medal and distance pins, with aid stations providing a variety of refreshments.
