Great British Bake Run - Wales
The event takes place at Dare Valley Country Park near Aberdare on well maintained footpaths with views of the surrounding countryside. It is organised by Saturn Too Limited as part of the Saturn Running series. The route is suitable for road trainers and may be adjusted for health and safety before the event.
This is a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how many laps to run. The minimum recorded distance is 3km per runner. A full lap is listed as 7km (4.37 miles) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. Turn points for 3km and 5km are provided to meet age restrictions for younger runners.

Finishers who complete at least 3km receive a themed medal that doubles as a cupcake magnet. Distance pins are available for half-marathon and longer achievements. There is an aid table and drinks at the start and finish of each lap with snacks and vegan options, plus goody bags including a vegan goody bag. The venue provides toilets and a cafe but no separate changing rooms or showers. Free parking is available. A non-secure bag drop is provided. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted.
