Great British Bake Run - Wales
This event at Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare is run as a 7 hour Time Challenge that lets participants choose how far they run. The minimum distance to be an official finisher is 3km. A full lap is listed as 7km (4.37 miles) but the loop may be changed to approximately 3.28 miles depending on course conditions. There are 3km and 5km turn points within the lap to support compliance with UK Athletics age rules.

- 5 km and 10 km options
- Half marathon distance
- Marathon distance
- 50 km option and ultra distances
- Time Challenge entry option
Finishers who complete at least 3km receive a themed medal that is a cupcake magnet, and distance pins are available for half marathon and longer achievements. The event includes a baking competition with prizes for best tasting, best looking and best effort cakes; entries are placed on the aid table for runners to eat during the event.
Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury and sweet options and vegan choices, and there is an array of ice cream for finishers. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan goody bag option available. Venue facilities include toilets and a cafe; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Free parking is available. A bag drop is provided but it is not a secure area. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited, a franchise partner of Saturn Running.
