Run to Infinity & Beyond - Wales
This event is a seven hour Time Challenge held at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare. Themed medals feature familiar characters and all finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Walkers are welcome and events are described as inclusive.
The Time Challenge lets participants choose how many laps to run within the time limit. The minimum distance is 3 km. A full lap is listed as 7 km (about 4.37 miles) and the course may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. Example lap counts: three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon; seven or more laps classed as an ultra. A 50 km option is also available.
Distances offered include:
- 3 km minimum distance per participant.

- Half marathon requires three laps.
- Marathon requires six laps.
- 50 km and ultra distances available.
The route uses well maintained footpaths with views across the countryside and is suitable for road trainers. Aid and drinks tables are positioned at the start/finish of each lap with a variety of snacks and vegan options. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan alternative and distance pins for half-marathon or longer. Venue facilities include toilets and a cafe, free parking, but no separate changing rooms or showers. A nonsecure bag area is provided. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted.
