About the race
The St David's Day Dragon Run 2026, organized by Saturn Running, takes place in the scenic Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare, Wales. This 7-hour time challenge allows participants to run distances of their choice, starting from a minimum of 3km. The course features well-maintained footpaths with beautiful countryside views, making it ideal for road trainers.
Runners can complete laps of approximately 4.37 miles (7km), with options for half marathon, marathon, ultra, and even 50km distances. Finishers receive medals and distance pins, and all participants enjoy a goody bag and access to an aid station with a variety of refreshments. Free parking and on-site toilets are available.
