Twmbarlwm Terror

The Twmbarlwm Terror is a multi-terrain race of approximately 7 miles that follows footpaths, open fields, country lanes and woodland around Risca and Pantyreos. The route reaches the Twmbarlwm peak and returns to the start.

The underfoot surfaces are variable, including paths, fields and lanes, and the course includes a total ascent of about 1000 ft. The route and elevation profile are provided, and a GPX file of the route is available.

This is the sixth running of the event. It is scheduled for Sunday 1 November 2026 and is based at Risca Leisure Centre, NP11 6GH. Entry fees are stated as £13 for affiliated runners and £15 for unaffiliated runners. Entries are taken online via Entry Central. Results from past runs are published by the organiser.
