Beacons Ultra, Marathon and Half 2026
The Beacons Ultra, Marathon and Half takes place on 7 November 2026 in Talybont on Usk, Powys. Races start and finish in the town near Henderson Hall and use routes in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons.

The ultra is run as two loops of a 23 mile course with an out and back to Pen y Fan on the first loop. Total elevation for the ultra is 2,258 metres (7,408 feet).
The marathon follows a single loop of the classic ultra route and includes a short ascent to Pen y Fan. Marathon total elevation is 1,319 metres (4,327 feet).
The half marathon is a 13ish mile route in and around Talybont on Usk. The course goes east of the village and takes in Tor Y Foel (551 m) and the Talybont reservoir. Half marathon total elevation is 543 metres (1,781 feet).
Routes use a mix of trail, mountain, canal and road terrain. The event is held in mid November, when climatic conditions can vary considerably. Entries open 1 December 2025 and close 1 November 2026.
