Event
The Beacons Ultra, Marathon and Half takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 in Talybont-on-Usk, Powys, with Henderson Hall listed as the event place. Races follow mixed trail, mountain, canal and road terrain in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. The event is held in mid November and the organiser notes that weather and climatic conditions can vary considerably.
Courses and distances
- 49 mile Ultra - two 23 mile loops plus out-and-back to Pen Y Fan.
- 26 mile Marathon - single loop of the classic Ultra route including Pen y Fan.
- 13 mile Half Marathon - east of Talybont on Usk, includes Tor Y Foel and reservoir.
Total elevation by race: Ultra 2,258 m / 7,408 ft, Marathon 1,319 m / 4,327 ft, Half Marathon 543 m / 1,781 ft.
Entries and fees
Entries open 1 December 2025 and close 1 November 2026. Minimum age is 18 or older. Standard entry fees listed are Ultra £70, Marathon £53, Half Marathon £35, with higher fees applying from 31 December 2025 (Ultra £80, Marathon £60, Half Marathon £40). Entry is managed through the SiEntries system. The event offers an optional XCover purchase for possible refund in certain circumstances. The organiser is Andali Events.
