Event overview

The Tata Steel Richard Burton 10k takes place on 2 November 2025 in Cwmafan, Port Talbot. The event is organised by the Bryn and Cwmafan events committee (charity number 1176360) and includes a companion one-mile fun run, the Runtech Kevin Webber Mini Miler. Distances offered:

• 1 mile (Mini Miler)

The 10k has an entry limit of 3,000 participants. All 10k entrants must be at least 15 years old. Mini Miler entrants under 9 are advised to be accompanied by an adult. Online entry for the 10k closes 12 October 2025; Mini Miler online entry closes 26 October 2025. There are no on-the-day entries for the Mini Miler.

Entry, prizes and race-day facilities

Entry fees listed for the event period are: Affiliated £30, Unaffiliated £32, Wheelchair Athlete £30. Race numbers and t-shirt allocation are posted to registrants who complete online entry by the 12 October deadline. Only 10k finishers receive the official race t-shirt; Mini Miler participants receive a t-shirt, medal and goody bag. The 10k prize structure includes monetary prizes for the first five finishers, veteran awards, team prizes and bonuses for fast times and course records. Marshalling and first aid are provided by named local teams. Parking, park-and-ride and signed village parking areas are arranged, and toilets, showers and food outlets will be available in and around the race village.
