Midweek Medal Madness Run
This is a seven hour timed running event held on Friday 29 May 2026 in Staines, at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, TW18 4SU. Entrants may run as many or as few laps as they choose within the seven hour period. Maximum field size is 300 and the minimum entry age is 12 years. Entries close on 28/05/2026.
The course follows a signed stretch of the River Thames and uses mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round. The regular lap length is 7 km (4.37 miles) but the loop may be changed for health and safety reasons; a shorter 3.28 mile loop is noted as a possible alternative. A 3 km turn point and a 5 km turn point are provided to meet age-based distance requirements.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km are official finishers and receive a themed medal. Goody bags are provided for finishers, with a vegan option available. Distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer achievements. An aid and drinks table is provided at the start/finish area with a selection of sweet, savoury, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue headquarters throughout the event. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines TW18 4TP.
Age rules: runners over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
