Beat the Sunset 50km
The Beat the Sunset 50km is an ultramarathon held in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Participants navigate a multi-terrain course that starts and finishes at the NMCC Sports Club off Summerleaze Road. This event requires runners to complete the distance before the official end of daylight on the day of the race.
The course features full directional signage to guide participants throughout the route. Supporters and staff manage four checkpoints located at approximately 10 km intervals. Runners have the option to utilize a personal nutrition drop point, which is situated during the second half of the course.
At the conclusion of the event, all finishers receive a medal and specific event mementoes. The host venue, the NMCC Sports Club, provides an onsite bar located adjacent to the finish line. Prizes are also awarded as part of the proceedings.
