Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge - Staines-upon-Thames
This is a 7 hour time-challenge event held as part of the Saturn Midweek Chasing Numbers series in March 2026. Participants choose how far to run within the seven-hour window; the minimum recorded distance for an official finish is 3 km.
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surface is mainly well-made paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable. The regular lap measures 4.37 miles (7 km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. There are 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap to help comply with age-related distance rules.

- Minimum finish distance 3 km
- Full lap 4.37 miles / 7 km (subject to change)
- Half marathon requires 3 laps
- Marathon requires 6 laps
- Ultra is 7 laps or more; a 50 km distance is available
Facilities include a manned aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap with savoury and sweet snacks and vegan options, toilets and changing facilities at the venue, on-site bag drop (not secure), and parking at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines TW18 4TP. Headphones are allowed. Maximum entrants are 300 and entries close on 05/03/2026. Transfers are permitted online up to the day before the event for £2.50; deferrals to another event are permitted for a fee of £18.
