Event format and rules
This is a 7-hour timed running challenge organised by Saturn Running on Friday 14 November 2025. Entrants can choose how many laps to complete within the 7-hour limit. Maximum field size is 300. Entries close 13/11/2025. Minimum entry age is 12 years. Runners aged 18 or 19 may compete up to 45 km; anyone running over 45 km must be at least 20 years old. Headphones are permitted. The course is fully signed and mainly on paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable.
Distances
- 3 km minimum
- 7 km lap (4.37 miles) - lap may change to a 3.28 mile loop
- Half-marathon requires 3 laps
- Marathon requires 6 laps
- Ultra requires 7 laps or more
- 50 km distance available
Location and facilities
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames at Unit 2, Last Hop, Thames Edge, Clarence Street, Staines TW18 4SU. There is parking at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines TW18 4TP. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the event HQ. An aid and drinks table is provided at the start/finish area on each lap with a selection of sweet and savoury snacks and vegan options. Finishers completing at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag; vegan goody bags and distance pins are available for qualifying distances.
