Saskia Says Triathlon : Victoria, BC
The Saskia Says Beginner Triathlon takes place on June 7, 2026 at Saanich Commonwealth Pool in Victoria, British Columbia. It is organised for athletes entering their first triathlon and features on-course support and volunteers.
Distances and format
- 500 m pool swim (25 m pool, swimmers grouped by estimated time)
- 20 km bike ride, two-loop out and back on Elk Lake Drive
- 4 km road run through winding neighbourhoods with slight elevations
Transition 1 and Transition 2 are in a single zone at the south end of the pool parking lot. Participants return to the transition area between disciplines, must pass the mount line on the bike and have helmets fastened before exiting transition.
Practical notes: on-site parking is limited, a gravel overflow area is available and roadside parking across from the Elk Lake entrance can be used. The event is non-refundable and transfers are not allowed. Non-members must pay Triathlon BC day-of-race insurance.
