Event overview
The Saskatchewan Marathon is an annual race hosted by the Saskatoon Road Runners Association in Saskatoon. The event lists a marathon date of May 31, 2026, and race activity takes place around Diefenbaker Park and city routes. The course uses a rolling road-closure system with roads reopening shortly after the last runner passes. Course support is planned around a six-hour marathon pace. There are mandatory timing checkpoints and an enforced cut-off at km 17; runners who do not meet that checkpoint will be redirected to the half marathon course. Continuing past the cut-off is at the runner’s own risk and may mean reduced course support.
