Saskatoon Heartbeat Run
The Saskatoon Heartbeat Run is the 13th annual community running event, held on September 13, 2026, in Rotary Park, Saskatoon. The event raises funds for the Mending Little Hearts Fund of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation and aims to raise $20,000 for pediatric cardiac care in Saskatchewan.
The course follows the river valley pathway system with riverfront views and a central start and finish at Rotary Park. All distances are chip timed and every participant receives a commemorative finisher medal. Age group awards will not be provided for this year.
Distances
- 10 km course crossing Victoria Bridge, out to Circle Drive North Bridge and back.
- 5 km same route with turnaround at 2.5 km mark.
- 3 km turnaround at 1.5 km mark.
- 1 km short family distance.
Package pickup is available the day before at Outtabounds. Ample parking is available around Rotary Park. Finish-line provisions include fruit, muffins and other snacks; medical services will be on site. Water refill stations are available and participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water container. Registrations are binding and refunds are not available unless race insurance conditions are met. The event follows an air quality protocol and may be canceled if air quality reaches a designated hazardous level. Official results will be posted online within 24 hours.
