About the race
The Saskatoon Heartbeat Run is a community fundraising run on September 13, 2026, held at Rotary Park in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Proceeds support the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation Mending Little Hearts Fund of Saskatchewan, with an event fundraising goal of $20,000. Volunteers will be on site to accept donations. The event offers multiple distances and a riverside course following the Meewasin Trail.
The routed 10 km course starts at Rotary Park, crosses Victoria Bridge, follows Meewasin Trail to the Circle Drive North Bridge turnaround, and returns the same way. Shorter distances use the same path with earlier turnarounds. All events are chip timed. Registration includes a cotton race t-shirt and a commemorative finisher medal, though shirts are not guaranteed after August 27.
Finish-line food and on-site medical services are available. Results are posted onsite and official results are published within 24 hours. Event logistics note that ample parking is available around Rotary Park. An air quality protocol is in place and the event may be canceled if conditions reach a specified unsafe level; registration is binding and refunds are restricted unless specific insurance conditions are met.
If the event is canceled, event merchandise will be mailed to registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
