Event
The Sardis Annual Community 5K and Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Athens, Georgia. The event is held to support the Sardis Classical Christian Community.
Location and course
The event takes place at Sandy Creek Park, 400 Bob Holman Road, Athens, GA 30607. The 5K course runs completely inside Sandy Creek Park on paved roads.
Registration and fees
Online registration is open until March 18, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT. The listed race fee is $30.00 plus a $3.44 sign-up fee for online entries. Race day registration is offered at the listed race fee and packet pick up is handled in Pavilion #1.
Awards and race management
Awards are given for overall male and female and for masters male and female. Male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places are awarded in standard 10-year age groups starting at 10 and Under and continuing through 80 and over. Finish line management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services. The event is a member of the Black Bag Race Series.
Weather policy
