Sarcoma Strong Run 5K - Capital District

The Sarcoma Strong Run is an annual global initiative that raises awareness of sarcoma and funds to support sarcoma research. The 2026 program spans Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16 and includes both in-person and virtual participation options.

A local Capital Region in-person event will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Saratoga Spa State Park on the Administration Lawn. The local meeting includes a 5k run and walk. Parking is available at the Little Theater and Car Museum lots.

Organizers continue to offer a virtual platform alongside live runs organized by collaborators across the United States. Funds and donations collected through registration and related activities are directed toward sarcoma research and awareness efforts. Registration for the 2026 events is open.
