Sarasota Suncoast Half Marathon & 5K : Nathan Benderson Park
The event takes place at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Cir, Sarasota, FL 34235. It offers two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
Packet pickup is held at Nathan Benderson Park with an early pickup on the day before the race in the afternoon and race-day pickup available in the morning. Parking inside the park carries a $15 fee. Restrooms are available near the race area.
The course information includes interactive maps and video flyovers. Aid stations supply water and Gatorade approximately every 2 miles or less. A 3.5 hour course time limit applies; walkers may participate if they finish within the posted limit.
Participants receive event apparel and finisher medals; personalized medal engraving is available onsite. Awards are presented to the top five finishers in each age group, with age groups covering a wide range from youth to 75+. Live results and timing are provided, and photos and race videos are made available after the event.
The event uses a live tracking app that shows participant locations, course maps, splits, and results. The organizer also reports annual donations to local school groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
