Course notes describe the 5K beginning with a descent to the water followed by a mile long scramble of switch backs along a mountainside. The half marathon uses portions of the 5K and 10K courses and then follows trails toward Dorabella in a loop before rejoining the 10K course.
Participants receive a technical event shirt, a unique medallion, chip timing, and a barbecue prepared by the Fresno County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team. The virtual option includes mailing of the finisher medallion and event shirt within two weeks after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
