Event overview

The Sheriff’s Office notified organizers that the triathlon could not take place at Shaver Lake, and Kern County Parks & Recreation permitted use of Lake Evans on the same date.
Participants were given three options after the site change: attend the event at Lake Evans, defer entry to the next year, or transfer entry to another Sierra Cascades race. Transfers and deferrals were to be handled through the organizer’s provided form.
