Santas on the Loose : Webster Groves, MO (Dec 6, 2025)
Santas on the Loose is an annual holiday-themed road event in Webster Groves, Missouri. The event program for 2025 includes a 5K run/walk, a 1 Mile run/walk, and a Kids 100 Dash. Proceeds benefit the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery. The event description notes participants often wear holiday costumes and that it is the 13th running of the event.
Apparel and finishers' items are provided: the first 500 registered 5K entrants receive a long sleeve 100% polyester shirt and a finisher medal; 1 Mile participants receive the same shirt and a finisher medal; each Kids Dash participant receives a medal sponsored by Goldfish Swim School. Registration is handled online only. Water is provided at the finish line. First place awards are presented at the Regions Bank/ServPro sponsor booth. A 2023 donation of $3,500 to the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is noted.

The 5K course starts on Orchard Avenue next to the Webster Groves Public Library and finishes on Orchard across from the library, following a marked loop through several residential streets in historic Webster Groves. The 1 Mile route travels on Orchard, Oakwood, Joy Avenue, Glen, Rosemont, then back to Orchard. Packet pickup is at Blue Dahlia Designs, 7930 Big Bend Blvd (Dec 4 and Dec 5 with stated hours), and on race day at 301 E. Lockwood. Awards include overall men’s and women’s finishers and top male/female in age groups from 12 and under through 80+. Routes are subject to change at the organizer’s discretion.
