Community First Credit Union Santa Scamper - Appleton

The Community First Credit Union Santa Scamper is a one-mile run and walk held before the Annual Downtown Appleton Christmas parade. The in-person route begins at the corner of College Ave and State Street and finishes at Jones Park. The finish area includes a clock for recorded times but the event is not chip timed.
Participants in the in-person event receive a commemorative beanie, an Appleton Dairy Queen Dilly Bar at the finish, and a coupon for a free regular burger from JDs Drive-In. The event supports the St. Joseph Food Program and is part of the 4imprint Race Series.
The virtual Santa Scamper offers the same participant items and options for packet delivery. Virtual participants can choose packet shipping or pick-up at Run Away Shoes. Virtual packets include the commemorative hat, a coupon to Appleton Dairy Queen locations, and a coupon for JDs Drive-In. The registration fee is $10 for both the in-person and virtual entries.
