Sunset 5K Run/Walk
The Sunset 5K Run/Walk is a community race held as part of Paperfest in Kimberly, WI on July 17, 2026. The course starts and finishes within the Paperfest grounds and follows a scenic route along the Fox River using the Kimberly trail system through the Sunset Park area. The distance is 5K (3.1 mile) and all finishers receive a medal.
The event is presented annually and sponsored by local organizations. Entries are non refundable and the race proceeds regardless of weather. Registration opens February 15, 2026, with tiered pricing for individual and family entries (family up to four people). Day of registration is available but must be completed online.
Participant times are recorded overall and by age groups, including 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 18, 19 to 23, 24 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. The course route is subject to change for safety or road condition reasons. All participants must agree to the Paperfest waiver prior to participation.
