Sunset 5K Run/Walk
The Sunset 5K Run/Walk is part of Paperfest in Kimberly, Wisconsin and is scheduled for July 17, 2026. The event uses a 5K (3.1 mile) course that starts and finishes within the Paperfest grounds and follows sections of the Fox River and the new Kimberly trail system through the Sunset Park community.
The event is presented annually and is sponsored by the Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley. All participants receive a finisher medal. Participant times are recorded overall and by age group, with age divisions including 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 18, 19 to 23, 24 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Registration opens February 15, 2026. The event uses tiered entry fees: early registration is $20 for a single entry and $60 for a family up to four; after May 1 the fees increase to $25 and $80; after July 1 the fees increase to $30 and $100. Day of registration is available but must be completed online. Entries are non refundable and the run will take place rain or shine.
