Sunset 5K Run/Walk
The Sunset 5K Run/Walk is part of Paperfest in Kimberly, Wisconsin. This is the 21st annual edition, sponsored by the Orthopedic and Sports Institute of the Fox Valley. The event starts and finishes inside the Paperfest grounds near the soccer fields at Sunset Park, 800 W Kimberly Ave.
The course is a 5K (3.1 mile) route that follows the Fox River and uses the Kimberly trail system, offering a scenic route through the Sunset Park community. All finishers receive a medal. Participant times are recorded overall and by age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 18, 19 to 23, 24 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Course route is subject to change for road conditions and safety.
The event is scheduled to occur rain or shine and entries are non refundable. Registration opens February 15, 2026. Pricing tiers are listed for single and family entries of up to four people: early registration, pricing after May 1, and pricing after July 1. Day of registration is available but must be completed online. Awards include finisher medals and maintained course records. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
