Event
The Paperfest Sunset 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held during Paperfest in Kimberly, Wisconsin. The 21st annual edition is scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026. The race starts and finishes inside the Paperfest grounds at the soccer fields and uses a route that runs along the Fox River and the Kimberly trail system through the Sunset Park community. The distance is 5K (3.1 mile). All participants receive a finisher medal. The event is presented by Community First Credit Union and is part of the Paperfest sports lineup.
Registration and race details
Registration opens February 15, 2026. Fees are tiered: early, after May 1, after July 1, and a family rate for up to four people; day-of registration is available but must be completed online. Entries are non-refundable. The race takes place rain or shine. Participant times are recorded both overall and by age group, with age categories listed from 12 & under up to 70+. All participants must agree to the Paperfest waiver before taking part. The course route is subject to change for road conditions and safety.
