Santa Rosa Marathon - 18th Anniversary
The Santa Rosa Marathon weekend takes place in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County on August 22 and 23, 2026. The event offers multiple in-person distances that run through vineyard-lined roads and rolling hills in California wine country on mostly flat courses.
Races are professionally timed and include free finisher photos. Finishers receive event-specific items: a commemorative finisher medal for distance completers, a full-zip finisher jacket for full and half marathon finishers, and an official event t-shirt for 10K and 5K participants. Half and full marathon finishers receive two complimentary beers and a bottle of wine provided by DeLoach Vineyards; 10K and 5K finishers receive one complimentary beer. A post-race celebration is hosted at Old Courthouse Square.
Additional event features include a virtual run option that awards the same swag, group registration, volunteer opportunities, and lodging information for attendees.
