Zarzaur Law Santa Rosa Island Triathlon
The 30th annual Zarzaur Law Santa Rosa Island Triathlon is held on Pensacola Beach, Florida, at 1 Casino Beach Boardwalk. The event is a USAT sanctioned sprint distance triathlon conducted along the Gulf shoreline with a flat, fast course.
Distances for the main triathlon are:
- 550 m (600 yd) swim along the Gulf shore
- 21 km bike out-and-back along Pensacola Beach
- 5 km run through a beach neighborhood
Race divisions include Individual sprint, Physically Challenged, Athena, Clydesdale, Aquabike, and relay teams. The Physically Challenged division requires athletes to have a physical disability. The Athena division requires female athletes weighing at least 165 pounds. The Clydesdale division requires male athletes weighing at least 220 pounds. The Aquabike option includes the swim and bike only. Relay divisions are offered for two-person teams, where one athlete completes two legs, and three-person teams, where each athlete completes one leg.
