Zarzaur Law Santa Rosa Island Triathlon
The Zarzaur Law Santa Rosa Island Triathlon, also known as SRI TRI, returns to Pensacola Beach, Florida, for its 30th annual edition. This event is a USAT sanctioned sprint distance triathlon that utilizes the flat landscape and coastal scenery of the region.
The race consists of a 550 meter (600 yard) swim along the shores of the Gulf of America. Following the swim, participants transition to a 21 kilometer out and back bike course that traverses the shores of Pensacola Beach. The final segment is a 5 kilometer run through a local beach neighborhood. The course is noted for being flat and fast.
A variety of participation categories are available to accommodate different athletes:
- Sprint Triathlon (Individual, Athena, Clydesdale, and Physically Challenged divisions)
- Aquabike
- Relay Triathlon (Options for 2 person or 3 person teams)
The event is hosted at the Casino Beach Boardwalk. After completing the course, athletes can attend an afterparty featuring complimentary food and beverages.
