The Santa Clarita Trail Race is set in Placerita Canyon at East Walker Ranch Open Space in Santa Clarita, California. The event takes place on May 1, 2027 and includes multiple race formats by distance, fixed-time categories, and team relays.

The combined Orange, Yellow, and Blue loops equal about 9.53 miles (15.31 km). Elevation gain on courses ranges from about 310 feet up to 7,652 feet for the longest distance.
On-course support includes staffed aid stations with water, electrolytes, snacks, and ice, and results are chip timed. The event is a cupless race; runners should bring their own hydration vessels. Camping is available near the race festival with zones for tents, RVs, and car camping.
