About the race
Sandyston Recreation's annual Gobble Hobble on Thanksgiving morning is a community run and walk held at the Sandyston Township Municipal Building in Sandyston, New Jersey. The event includes a main 5K run/walk plus a short youth run called the Turkey Chase.

Registration is required. The 5K has a registration fee of $25. The Turkey Chase is free; participants in the Turkey Chase receive a race bib and a small prize, and T-shirts are not included with Turkey Chase registration. The 5K field is limited to 350 participants.
Organizers provide race shirts and swag items on a first-registered basis: shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registrants and swag bags are guaranteed to the first 150 registrants. Live results are posted online during the event, and finishing confirmations are sent to finishers electronically.
Awards are given for overall first through third places for males and females, a masters (over 40) winner in male and female categories, and youth age-group awards with a small treat for top youth finishers. Age-group winner award certificates will be sent electronically for the listed age brackets from 20-24 up through 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
