Sandwich Fair Shake Up Shuffle
The Third Annual Sandwich Fair Shake Up Shuffle takes place on September 7, 2026 at the Sandwich Fairgrounds in Sandwich, Illinois. The event offers two course distances that begin on the infield track, follow routes through the fairgrounds, and finish back on the infield for a post-race celebration with music, games, and appearances by local businesses.
Available distances:
- 3.1 Miles (5K Run Walk)
- 1 Mile (1M Run Walk)
All registered participants receive a Shake Up Shuffle shirt, a timed race bib with finisher results, and a collectible finisher medal. Course water, post-race refreshments, and a Lemonade Shake Up from McKinney’s Concessions are provided. Participants registered for the full 5K route also receive a five day Sandwich Fair season pass. Special pricing is available for participants age five and under on both routes.
The first two hundred registered participants ages six and older receive a limited swag bag. Discounted pricing for the full route is available through May 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST. Registration opens May 1, 2026. To guarantee a Shake Up Shuffle shirt, registration should be completed prior to August 7, 2026.
