Mom Made Me Do This 5K : Aurora, IL
Mom Made Me Do This is a community running event held at Mastodon Lake in Phillips Park, Aurora, Illinois. The event is presented by Fox Valley United Way and Rush Copley Foundation, and proceeds are used to support positive health outcomes for families in the local community.

- 5K Run and Walk
- Mile for Mom adult 1 mile lap and youth 1 mile obstacle course; children under 5 may participate free and may purchase a shirt and medal at the event
The course starts just north of the bridge that leads into Mastodon Playground and finishes at the same bridge. Participants follow the path around Mastodon Lake three times. Runners are instructed to line up in front and walkers behind runners; walkers are asked to stay to the right on the path and be mindful of fellow participants.
Packet pick up is scheduled on two days before the event at community locations and on race day at Mastodon Lake in Phillips Park. Specific packet pick up locations include Fox Valley United Way at 44 E. Galena Blvd., Aurora, and the Rush Copley Medical Center Lobby at 2000 Ogden Ave., Aurora. Parking is available in multiple Phillips Park parking lots.
Awards recognize first place finishers in four age and gender categories and the top three fundraisers receive donated prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
