Event
The I Raced The Law 5K and Color Run takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Oswego, Illinois (4120 Plainfield Rd, Oswego, IL 60543). It is the third annual edition and raises money for the Oswego Public Safety Cadets Post #1833. Proceeds will go toward equipment, training, and lowering participation costs for the 2027 Public Safety Cadets Summer Showdown. The course is USATF certified and the race is chip timed.

Entry fees and age rules: the 5K is listed at $30 and open to ages 13-100. The Color Run is listed at $20 and open to ages 13-100. The 5K for 12 and under is listed at $15. The Color Run for 12 and under is listed at $10. Prices increase after January 31, 2026. Sign-ups after March 31, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt.
Packet pickup is at the Oswego Police Department (3355 Woolley Rd) on April 16 and April 17, 2026, with additional packet pickup available at the race site on race day. Day-of registration is available. Participants receive a t-shirt and may check the "I Won" box on the shirt if they beat the officer's time in their age/gender bracket.
