I Raced The Law 5K and Color Run
The I Raced The Law 5K and Color Run takes place on Sunday April 19, 2026 in Oswego, Illinois. The event raises funds for the Oswego Public Safety Cadets Post #1833. Proceeds will support equipment, training, and help lower the cost of participation in the 2027 Public Safety Cadets Summer Showdown.

- 1 Mile Color Run

- Color Run for ages 12 and under
Packet pickup is available at the Oswego Police Department, 3355 Woolley Rd, on April 16 and April 17 from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Day of packet pickup and day of registration begin at 8:00am at the race site, 4120 Plainfield Rd, Oswego.
Participants can race against a police officer in their age and gender bracket on the course. All participants receive a t shirt and those who beat the officer's time may check off the I Won box on the shirt. The event is USATF certified and chip timed. Entry options and fees vary by event with listed prices ranging from $10 to $30 and registration details note a price increase after January 31, 2026. Sign ups after March 31, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
