I Raced The Law 5K and Color Run

The I Raced The Law 5K and Color Run takes place on Sunday April 19, 2026 in Oswego, Illinois. The event raises funds for the Oswego Public Safety Cadets Post #1833. Proceeds will support equipment, training, and help lower the cost of participation in the 2027 Public Safety Cadets Summer Showdown.

Packet pickup is available at the Oswego Police Department, 3355 Woolley Rd, on April 16 and April 17 from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Day of packet pickup and day of registration begin at 8:00am at the race site, 4120 Plainfield Rd, Oswego.

Participants can race against a police officer in their age and gender bracket on the course. All participants receive a t shirt and those who beat the officer's time may check off the I Won box on the shirt. The event is USATF certified and chip timed. Entry options and fees vary by event with listed prices ranging from $10 to $30 and registration details note a price increase after January 31, 2026.
