Sandusky Run For Life 5K and 1 Mile
The Sandusky Run For Life takes place on June 27, 2026 at the Diamond Trail in Sandusky, Michigan. The event offers multiple distances:
- 5K Run and Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 5K Walk (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Adult
- 1 Mile Youth
Registration pricing varies by date. Early bird registration is $20 until April 30; the fee increases to $25 until May 31 and to $30 after that. The youth 1 mile entry fee is $10. Online registration remains open until the day before the race and same-day registration is available for $35. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by June 20.
All participants receive a swag bag, a T-shirt, and a finisher medal. Packet pick up and bib distribution are provided on race day. Water is available on course; water, Gatorade, and pre-packaged snacks are provided after the event. Parking is available at the Diamond Trail with additional spaces at the Maple Valley Community Center and ISD parking lot.
Awards are given near the pavilion after the 5K. The 1 mile has separate youth and adult divisions with first, second, and third place ribbons and no age groups. The 5K run uses age groups from 9 and under through 75 and up. The 5K walk awards first through third overall in men and women divisions. The race will proceed rain or shine and is timed by Miller Race Management. Proceeds support Right to Life of Sanilac County and their educational outreach.
