Port Sanilac Splash & Dash 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The Port Sanilac Splash & Dash is a chip-timed running event on the Lake Huron waterfront in Port Sanilac, Michigan. It takes place during Port Sanilac SummerFest and is held at Harbor Park on Main Street in the Harbor on July 25, 2026. Participants may choose between these distances:
- 5K
- 2 Miles (fun run/walk)
Dogs and other leashed pets, including iguanas, are welcome on the course. Every participating canine receives a collar-clip medal, and the first K9 to cross the finish line receives a special medal. There is also an award for the best-dressed human participant.
Each registration includes an event T-shirt. For the 5K, awards are given to the first male and female in each age group: 0–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+. Proceeds from the event benefit children's play equipment and other improvements at Harbor Park.
The course winds through streets and parks of the Lake Huron waterfront community, passing scenic areas of Port Sanilac. The event presents organized racing and a shorter recreational option on the same day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
