Sandown & Shanklin Isle of Wight Seafront 10K
This event is a measured 10 km out-and-back run between Sandown and Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. The course follows seafront promenades and includes stretches of firm sandy beach and some cliff-top trail with sea views. Runners pass esplanades, wooded sections, and local landmarks along the route.
The event is organised by MCC Promotions and is UKA affiliated. It takes place at Browns Family Golf & Pluto's Café, Yaverland Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight PO36 8QA on 13 September 2026. Entry is listed at £16. On-day registration is available.
Facilities and race provisions include public toilets at Browns Pluto's Café, a bag drop at Pluto's Café, first aid cover, and water supplied at various points on the course. Trophies are awarded to the first three male and female finishers, and participants receive a bespoke medal; a spot prize is also noted. Results are published by the organiser after the race.
