The Sandown & Shanklin Isle of Wight Seafront 10K is a 10K road race organised by MCC Promotions on 13 September 2026. The event is open to entrants aged 15 and over on that date. Entry fee is £16. On-day registration is available. The event is UKA affiliated and supports the charity Sport In Mind.
Course and facilities
The course is an accurately measured out-and-back along the Sandown and Shanklin seafront, mainly on seafront promenade with sections of firm sandy beach and cliff-top trails. Course records are 31:50 (male, 2023) and 36:50 (female, 2017). Trophies are awarded to the first three male and female finishers; a bespoke medal and spot prizes are also provided. Facilities listed include public toilets and bag drop at Browns Pluto's Café, first aid, and water stations at various points on the course. Parking is free at Browns Family Golf; parking at the Isle of Wight Zoo has a fee of £3 for three hours. Directions note British Rail to Sandown, Isle of Wight.
