The Wroxall School Run
The Wroxall School Run is a community running event returning for a second year at Wroxall Primary School on the Isle of Wight. The event offers a family friendly day with a multi terrain 5k run and a 1k run for children. The runs start and finish at Wroxall Primary School.
The 5k route follows the previous year’s course and runs across village and downland areas. The route includes varied terrain and a couple of hills and provides open views over the village and the downs.
Proceeds from the event are allocated to Wroxall Primary School and the school Robins to support learning and pastoral provision. The school was rated Good at its last Ofsted inspection and is located in a rural area of Wroxall with a local community focus.
Practical information available for participants includes free public parking next to the school. Entry options include separate categories for the children's 1k, under 16 5k, and adult 5k, with entry fees listed between £5 and £14.
