6th Annual Sand Lake Run 4 the 4th
The Sand Lake Run 4 the 4th is a 4-mile Run/Walk held on July 4, 2026 in Sand Lake, Michigan. The course starts and finishes in historic Sand Lake and circles the lake on a mix of pavement, dirt roads, and paved trails. The course is described as relatively flat and is part of the Sand Lake 4th of July Celebration.
Event options include:
- 4 Mile in-person race
- Virtual 4 Mile run or walk, submit results after completing on July 4
Registration details by option:
- In-person 4 Mile: registration opens December 2, 2025 and closes July 3, 2026; entry fee $25.
- Virtual 4 Mile: registration opens December 2, 2025 and closes July 4, 2026; entry fee $30. Virtual participants are asked to upload their results; shirts can be shipped if registered before the shirt deadline.
To receive a race shirt, register before June 23, 2026; organizers will order a limited number of extra shirts but shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Packet pick-up and day-of registration take place at the Sand Lake White Pine Trail Pavilion.
The event is hand-timed. Results will be posted for viewing in person after the race and uploaded online within three hours of the race conclusion. Proceeds will support the Cedar Springs Cross Country program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
