White Pine Thaw Marathon Relay
The White Pine Thaw Marathon Relay is scheduled for March 7, 2027, in Comstock Park, Michigan, on the southern section of the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail. The event covers a total distance of 26.2 miles on an out and back route that runs north to Russel Road and returns to Comstock Park.
Teams of runners combine to cover the full marathon distance. Organizers also allow individual entrants to run the full marathon solo, although event merchandise is branded for the relay. The course is unsupported and the organizer does not provide any transportation.
Registration opens February 23, 2026, and closes January 24, 2027. The listed registration fees are $60.00 for relay teams and $80.00 for solo marathon entries.
The trail is routinely plowed by Friends of The White Pine Trail. The route encounters very few low traffic crossroads.
