Event overview
The San Jose Spartan Trifecta Weekend takes place on April 4-5, 2026 at Woodward Reservoir Regional Park in Oakdale, California (14528 26 Mile Rd). The park covers about 3,700 acres of land and about 2,900 acres of reservoir and offers on-site recreation and camping. The event runs across two days and includes multiple Spartan race formats as part of the West National Series.

The course includes many standard Spartan obstacles and location-specific challenges. Examples listed for this event include Atlas Carry, A-frame cargo, barbed wire crawl, fire jump, inverted wall, bucket carry, Hercules hoist, Multi-Rig, rope climb, sandbag carry, slip wall (rolling mud), spear throw, and walls.
Finishers receive event items such as a Sprint finisher medal, a finisher tee, and festival entrance. A Trifecta medal is awarded for completing the Sprint, Super, and Beast in the same year.
