San Francisco Pride Run
The San Francisco Pride Run is a volunteer-led event organized by SF Front Runners to combine fitness, fundraising, and LGBTQ+ pride during San Francisco Pride weekend. The event takes place in Golden Gate Park at Middle Drive West near Metson Road and uses a USATF certified course. The 10K course is two loops of the 5K course and the event is USATF sanctioned.
Distances offered:
- 5K in person
- 10K in person
- Kids dash (in person)
- Virtual 5K with t-shirt option
- Virtual 10K with t-shirt option
Virtual runs are open from June 13 to June 28 and virtual participants may receive a t-shirt either at bib pickup or mailed afterward; top placer medals are not offered for virtual entries. Medals are awarded to the top three overall in the men, women, and non-binary divisions, and by gender identity within standard age groups.
Registration is tiered with early bird, regular, and limited day-of pricing; all fees are before taxes and processing charges. Parking at the event is extremely limited; alternate parking areas and public transit options serve the park. The run supports a beneficiary organization, Rafiki Coalition, whose mission focuses on eliminating health inequities in Black, LGBTQ+, and marginalized communities through education, advocacy, and holistic services.
