San Francisco FrontRunners Pride Run - 46th Annual (2026)
The San Francisco FrontRunners Pride Run is a community-led event that supports local nonprofits, promotes fitness, and celebrates LGBTQ+ pride during SF Pride weekend. The 2026 edition takes place in Golden Gate Park at Middle Drive West and Metson Road on June 27, 2026.
The event features multiple participation options:
- In-person 5K run or walk
- In-person 10K run or walk
- Virtual 5K with t-shirt option
- Virtual 10K with t-shirt option
- Kids dash open to all ages and gender identities
Registration is offered in pricing tiers and is capacity limited; registrations often reach capacity. Early bird, regular, and limited day-of registration fees are specified by the organizer and apply before taxes and fees. Check-in, same-day registration, and bag check are available on race day. The virtual run window runs from June 13 to June 28, and virtual participants can receive a t-shirt at bib pickup or by mail after the virtual event ends. Virtual entries are not eligible for top placer medals.
The certified course runs through Golden Gate Park and is USATF certified and sanctioned; the 10K is two loops of the 5K course. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers overall in the men, women, and non-binary divisions and by gender identity for each age group: under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
Parking will be extremely limited; the organizer recommends using nearby designated parking areas and public transportation. The 2026 beneficiary is Rafiki Coalition. Rafiki Coalition’s mission is to eliminate health inequities in San Francisco’s Black, LGBTQ+, and marginalized communities through education, advocacy, and holistic health and wellness services in a culturally affirming environment.
