Samar 4 and 8 Miler
The Samar 4 and 8 Miler is held on the Wolf River Trails in Memphis. The course is mostly single track, described as flat and very runnable. The event uses a 4 mile loop; the 4 mile distance is one loop and the 8 mile distance is two loops.

The Start/Finish area serves as the only aid station and is located at the 4 mile mark, so 8 mile participants will pass that aid station twice. The race is cupless; participants are expected to plan personal hydration needs and may leave a bag of their own food or drinks at the Start/Finish aid station. The event is chip timed and bibs should be worn on the front for timing. Portable toilets will be available in the parking area. Packet pickup is listed as TBD.
Parking is limited to about 60 paved spaces at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead with additional grass parking behind and beside the lot. RV camping is available at the Agricenter International RV Park within walking distance; that facility offers sewer, electrical hookups, water, dump station, restrooms, showers, and laundry.
