Samar 4 and 8 Miler - Memphis, TN
The Samar 4 and 8 Miler is scheduled for July 18, 2026 in Memphis, Tennessee and is organized by Mamba Trail Runners. The event takes place on the Wolf River Trails, which are mostly single track dirt that the organizer describes as flat, smooth, and highly runnable.
The course is a 4 mile loop. Distances offered:
- 8 Miler - two 4 mile loops
- 4 Miler - one 4 mile loop
The only aid station is at the Start/Finish area at mile 4 and will primarily serve 8 milers. This is a cupless race; participants are advised to carry a hydration flask or vest if they need hydration between aid station access. Course markings and signage will be placed on the right side and use orange ribbon and orange ground flags at key turns. The race is chip timed and bibs should be worn on the front of the body.
Logistics include limited paved parking at the trailhead with additional grass parking, portable restrooms in the parking lot area, and on-site packet pickup the day before and on race morning. RV camping is available at the RV Park at Agricenter International with electrical and sewer hookups and nearby amenities. There are no refunds or rollover credits.
