Devil Dog Ultras : Prince William Forest Park, Triangle VA
Devil Dog Ultras is a trail ultramarathon held in Prince William Forest Park at Cabin Camp 5 near Triangle, VA on Dec 5 and 6, 2026. The event offers multiple loop distances on primarily single-track trails with roots, rocks and brief technical sections. There are spurts of fire road and rolling hills but no substantial climbs. The course will be well marked.

- 100K
- 50K plus an additional 9 mile loop
The first loop is 23 miles for all races; subsequent loops are 19.5 miles for the 100K and 100 mile races. The 100K completes three loops and the 100 mile completes five. The 50K consists of one loop plus a 9 mile loop. Time limits are 10 hours for the 50K, 20 hours for the 100K and 32 hours for the 100 mile.
Each loop includes three staffed aid stations at Camp Remi, Camp Gunny and Camp Toofy, and three unmanned water resupply points labeled Alpha, Bravo and Charlie. Crew access is permitted only at Camp Remi and Camp Toofy. Volunteers staff the aid stations and provide on-course support and food options.
Entry is limited to 300 runners. General registration opens Jan 1, 2026 on UltraSign-up and closes Nov 27, 2026 or when races fill. The 100 mile entry requires a 50 mile finish within the previous two years. Bunkhouse lodging is available for registered runners at Camp Remi with 75 beds on a first come, first served basis.
