Devil Dog Ultras, December 5 and 6, 2026
Devil Dog Ultras is a trail running event at Prince William Forest Park Cabin Camp 5 in Triangle, VA. The event offers three distances:
- 100 mile
- 100K
- 50K
The course is a looped route mainly on single track with occasional roots, rocks, and brief technical sections. There are stretches of fire road and rolling hills but no substantial climbs. The first loop is 23 miles; subsequent loops are 19.5 miles for the 100 mile and 100K. The 100K completes three loops, the 100 mile completes five loops, and the 50K completes one loop plus a nine mile loop. The course is marked.
Each loop includes three staffed aid stations at Camp Remi, Camp Gunny, and Camp Toofy, plus three unmanned water resupply points called RP Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. Crew access is allowed at Camp Remi and Camp Toofy only. Aid stations include hot food options. Time limits are 10 hours for the 50K, 20 hours for the 100K, and 32 hours for the 100 mile.
General registration opens January 1, 2026 and is limited to 300 entries. Pricing listed for the event is $275 for the 100 mile, $230 for the 100K, and $115 for the 50K. The 100 mile requires proof of a completed 50 mile race within the past two years. Refunds and deferrals are not available; bib transfers are allowed under conditions and must be completed by November 5. Bunkhouse beds are available for registered runners at Camp Remi for a fee and are offered first come first served. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
