Devil Dog Ultras : Triangle, VA
Devil Dog Ultras is a trail running event held in Triangle, VA at Prince William Forest Park (Cabin Camp 5). The event offers multiple looped distances on a mostly single-track course with occasional roots, rocks and brief technical sections. The course also includes stretches of fire road and rolling hills but no substantial climbs. The course is described as well marked.

The first loop for all races is 23 miles. Subsequent loops are 19.5 miles for the 100 mile and the 100K. The 100K completes three loops and the 100 mile completes five loops. The 50K covers one full loop plus a nine mile loop. Each loop includes three staffed aid stations (Camp Remi start/finish, Camp Gunny, Camp Toofy) and three unmanned resupply points named Alpha, Bravo and Charlie that provide water only. Crew access is allowed at Camp Remi and Camp Toofy but not at Camp Gunny or the resupply points.
Cutoff times are 10 hours for the 50K, 20 hours for the 100K and 32 hours for the 100 mile. Entry is limited to 300 runners and a waitlist opens when races fill. General registration opens Jan 1, 2026 and closes Nov 27, 2026. Entry fees listed for 2024 were $275 for the 100 mile, $230 for the 100K and $115 for the 50K; later pricing increases and deadlines are indicated in the event information. The race no longer offers refunds or deferrals; bib transfers are permitted under stated conditions and must be completed by Nov 5.
The event offers 75 bunkhouse beds at Camp Remi for registered runners at a stated fee; vehicle parking for bunkhouse users is in a remote lot about 1 mile from the start with shuttle service provided Friday evening and after the race. The Devil Dog Dynasty Challenge is a multi year program that awards gear for completing specific distance sequences in consecutive years and counts previous years results toward those sequences.
