5K Fun Run x Salty Turtle Brewing Co. | 2026 NC Brewery Running Series
The event is an approximately 5K community run that starts and ends at Salty Turtle Beer Company in Surf City, NC. It is organized by North Carolina Brewery Running Series and is presented as an untimed, open-course activity for participants of all ages who may run, walk, or jog at their own pace.
Registration includes one craft beverage from Salty Turtle for participants 21 and over, with a non-alcoholic option available for those under 21. Registered participants also receive a choice of a collector pint glass or series swag item, and access to on-site music, food, games, and partner activations as part of the day’s offerings.
The route uses public roads and paths; participants are asked to obey traffic laws and remain aware of surroundings. The event runs in rain or shine and has limited capacity based on venue size. A portion of registration fees supports local nonprofit organizations; the series reports having raised over $700,000 for community organizations to date.
